Study Days of the Three-church-partnership 2015

In diaconal hotel, in the city Herrenberg, near Stuttgart, were held Study Days of Three-church-partnership 2015, in days the 24th to 26th of September 2015. The theme of days sounded: „Between exploitation and righteousness“.
The ECAC in Slovakia was represented at the meeting by General Bishop Miloš Klátik, chairman of the Association of Evangelical Pastors Daniel Midriak and Secretary of Foreign department Samuel Miško. The Evangelical Diakonia of the ECAC was also participated by Zuzana Kolárovská and Community of Evangelical Women by Daniela Horínková.

At the first day of meeting the participants were greeted by Oberkirchenrat of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Württember Klaus Rieth. In his contribution on the topic: „Mission, ecumenism and development“ he brought closer the activities of the Church in this area. On the second days sounded lectures about the situation in day-care services in Germany and about activites of local Evangelical Diakonia. Diakonia takes care about counseling for nurses. Nurses usually came from Eastern Europe and they arrived to Germany because of work. After contributions followed very interesting discussion. Afternoon participants had possibility to see Museum of Bells in local evangelical church and participated on the short prayer. On last day of meeting were presented reports about current situation and events, which are prepared at partner churches and organizations.

The members of Three-church-partnership are the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Württemberg, the Evangelical Church in Central Germany and the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Slovakia.
