Ecumenical Service on the beginning of Slovak Presidency in EU

Ecumenical Worship Service on the occasion of beginning of Slovak Presidency in Council of the European Union was held on the eve of National holiday – Slovak apostles Cyril and Methodius, the 4th July 2016, in the St. Martin's Cathedral, Bratislava.
On the Ecumenical Worship Service were participated: General Bishop of the ECAC in Slovakia and Chairman of the Ecumenical Council of Churches in Slovakia Miloš Klátik, Archbishop of Bratislava and Chairman of the Slovak Bishops´ Conference Stanislav Zvolenský and leading representatives of other Christian Churches, representatives of political and cultural life and members of the diplomatic corps. They prayed together for the Slovak Presidency in the European Union.

General Bishop Miloš Klátik spoke on the text from Bible, Psalm 33:12: „Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord“. Ivan Debnár read excerpts of the Luther´s testimony on the topic word of the Lord, Jesus Christ: „I am the way, and the truth, and the life”.

On the end, General Bishop gave Aaron´s Blessing to the gathering.
