At the end of the week on 24 - 25 June 2011 in Teplice Trenčianske the Synod of the Evangelical Church of AC in Slovakia took place.
The synod of the ECAC started on Friday with the opening service in the Evangelical Church of AC in Trenčianske Teplice. The sermon was geven by the assistant to the bishop of the Silesian Church of AC Jan Waclawek. The conference agenda included reports of the activities of bodies of the ECAC since the last Synod, as well as legislative amendments to the Constitution of the ECAC in Slovakia. Moreover, the Synod was dedicated to the memory of the 90th Anniversary of the Synod in Trenčianske Teplice as it had an important place in the history of our church.
