Rev. Marian Čop was introduced into the office of superintendent of the ECAC in the Czech Republic on Sunday, 29th of April 2012. The service was held in the Church of St. Michal in Jirchářích in Prague. There have been important guests from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and the USA who were not only clergy but lay as well.
The sermon was given by the Bishop of the Silesian Evangelical Churc, Jan Waclawek. The ECAC in Slovakia was represented by the General Bishop Miloš Klátik, Bishop of the Western district, Milan Krivda, and Bishop Emeritus, Ján Midriak
