Dr. Vladimír Zajac, belongs to the significant personalities from various scientific branches that are recognized each year by the Slovak Academy of Science. Dr. Vladimír Zajac was recognized for his scientific results in the field of experimental carcinology. His achievments have been recognized internationally. Dr. Zajac received his prize at the ceremonial seminary of the Slovak Academy of Science on 30 May, 2013.
Dr. Vladimír Zajac was born on 21 June, 1943 in Hámre near Trenčín and soon will celebrate his significant jubilee. He comes from a Lutheran family whose roots go back to the time after the fight on the White Hill. For several years, he was active in his congregation in Bratislava.
