General Bishop ECAC in Slovakia Miloš Klátik has sent to the Church of Sweden a condolence to the unexpected demise of the emeritus bishop Tony Guldbrandzén:

We are touched by the message of the unexpected demise of the brother emeritus Bishop Tony Guldbrandzén.
The Evangelical Church of Augsburg Confession in Slovakia is connected to the Härnösand diocese by a long-standing partnership and brother Bishop Guldbranzén accepted visits from our Church during his service many times. He visited our Church here in Slovakia a few times as well. We had the pleasure to meet him for the last time during Gathering of Christians in Bratislava in June 2008, where he served a sermon for us.
We feel deep sorrow and would like to express sincere condolences to the remaining family and the Swedish Church on the loss of this prescious man.
We pray for you and believe in fulfillment of the Lord’s words:
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." (J 11, 25)
