On 10. September 2011 in intenational evanglical youth center MEMC – Ichtys in Velky Slavkov an international football tournament organized by ECAC for the very first time took place.
On Saturday, 3rd of September 2011 in Albertirša , Hungary, local people of Slovak herritage celebrated 300th anniversary of establishing slovak congregations of Augsburg Confession. A slovak-hungarian service included a sermon by the general bishop of ECAC Milos Klatik.
On Saturday, 30th of July 2011 the ordianation of new vicars of ECAC was carried out in the evangelical church in Puchov. Live broadcast of the service could be seen on the slovak television STV 2.
The graduation of 38 students of the Evangelical Theological Faculty (ETF) of the Comenius University in Bratislava, who finished their studies with title magister or have bachelor, was held on 20th July 2011 in the Aula of Comenius University. The titles were given out by the Dean of the ETF Ľubomír Batka.
On 7 - 10 July 2011 the 7th Congress of South-East-Central European Collage Days (SECEC) at Lake Balaton took place. Dr. Miloš Klátik, General Bishop of the ECAC in Slovakia took part in this event as well. The Evangelical Theological Faculty was represented by Professor Juraj Bandy.
On Tuesday, the 12th of August 2011 General Bishop Miloš Klátik received convent of the Württemberg church at the General Bishop's Office. The group of 19 pastors was accompatnied by Klaus Schwarz, the dean of the church district of Blaubeuren and Ulrich Hirsch, Director of the Gustav-Adolf-Werk in Wuerttemberg
On 10 - 12 July 2011 the Board of the Institute for Diaspora met in Révfülöp. General Bishop of the ECAC in Slovakia Dr. Miloš Klátik took part as he is a member of the Board as well.
On 8./9.7.2011 the final event of the Decade to Overcome Violence was held in the EKM in the meeting house "Rittergut" in Lützensömmern under the motto "... wanting hope". The ECAC in Slovakia was represented by: Erika Valko-Krišťáková, pastor for students at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Bratislava and Marcela Kmeťová, secretary of foreign affairs at the Office of the General Bishop of ECAC in Slovakia.
Lutheran world federation has restructulized its committees in order to raise efficiency of its work, thus creating four new committees. The new committees include: Theology and Ecumenical Relations, Holistic Mission and Member Church Relations, World Service, Advocacy and Public Voice.
General bishop of ECAC in Slovakia Milos Klatik came to congratulate Janos Szemerei, the newly elected bishop of western district of The Evangelical Church in Hungary, on 27th of June 2011 and wish him all the best for his upcoming hard work and God's blessings.
