Delegation from Frösön (Härnösand diocese), Sweden, paid a visit to the ECAC in Slovakia. Church of Sweden is a partner church to the ECAC in Slovakia and our colleagues were interested in how different responsibilities are divided in our church and how is the work divided among pastors, administrative employees etc.
Led by “Church Head” Peter Forsberg, the group of 33 swedes visited congregations in Petrzalka, Stare Mesto and Modra. They have discussed topics of youth work, service agenda, differences in liturgy and others. The visitors also stopped by at the General Bishop’s Office in Bratislava to talk with the Secretary of Mission – pastor Stefan Kiss.
Their official visit ended by meetings at cemeteries in Slavicie udolie and Ruzinov where they talked to representatives of Marianum (Church of Sweden is also responsible for funerals and burrials)
