Teacher from Evangelical gymnasium in Tisovec nominated for best teacher of 2012 award

Ing. Ladislav Cajko who is a teacher of applied economics at Evangelical gymnasium in Tisovec has was nominated for best teacher of 2012 – EWB Teacher Award 2012. This was a part of teacher’s conference in Norway.
Norwegian kingdom significantly supports innovative ideas and development in education. That is why the teacher’s conference EWB (Enterprise Without Borders) Junior Achievement Young Enterprise (JA-YE) took place in Oslo at the end of October 2012. Ing. Ldislav Cajko took part based on invitation to JA-YE. „It was very inspiring and interesting. I have met with 120 teachers from all-around Europe and Africa. We have discussed projects we are preparing and our intentions that will be able to materialize based on mutual cooperation.“ Other nominees were: Roxana Filip from Romania, Ludmila Ryznuk from Bulgaria, Leif Oedegaard from Norway and Amanda Chonf from Portugal. „I am happy to have received this nomination as there is altogether 2850 teachers from Europe and Africa and it is an honor for me to be among the five best.“ Said Mr. Cajko. Part of Cajko’s presentation was introduction of a movie prepared in school year 2011/2012 together with student organization Egalite „Kick out the difference“: „This way information about our movie has been spread to Norway, Sweden, Serbia, Italy, Uganda, Kenya, Estonia, Latvia and Bulgaria. Positive feedback we have received was proof that our school was able to produce an amazing work that discusses the issue of migration and asylants.“
