Ceremonial ordination 2014 in Prešov

On Saturday, 26 July 2014 at the Lutheran Church in Prešov was held a ceremonial ordination five new chaplains. To the service of church was introduced, were ordained : Jakub Pavlús, Svetlana Bodnárová, Michal Meliško, Andrea Kurčík a Soňa Pichnarčíková. After the graduation the degree program Evangelical theology at the Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava and passing the chaplain exam successfully, accomplish all condition for work to be a pastor.
Speech to the Confession and Holy Supper had brother Bishop of the Western District Milan Krivda. His speech was based on the words: „ So if you are offering your gift at the altar and remember there that another believer has something against you, leave your gift at the altar. First go away and make peace whit that person. Then come back and offer your gift.“(Matthew 5, 23-24). As he said, misunderstanding and fight are on every day order, not just at work, in our families, we can catch up by an accident with our good friends, and suddenly they became our enemies. If somebody says, that I am Christian, but it doesn´t want to be reconciliation his name „to be a christian“ is fake. If it sings a song, praise the Lord, but not to be reconciled with neighbor, it is not songs to praise to the Lord. Instead, it is an insult. Man expressed it is position that God's reconciliation is nothing. If it wants to a pray, but it is not reconciliation, instead blessings attracted condemnation. If it visites a service of God in the church without reconciliation with his neighbour, makes the God be an enemy. People need to look after reconciliation right there, where spread intrigue, jealousy and quarrel. Liturgy of the sacrament of the Holy Supper was led by bishop of the Eastern District Slavomír Sabol.

Brother General bishop Miloš Klátik gave on ordination speech on exemple a story about two sons which father send to go to work to the vineyard. Man largely characterize his words, his expression. This characteristic is incomplete. After good words which means help, encouragement followed by deeds, but the words are incompatibile with deeds, that good words losing their possitive power and shown man like a hypocrite, a liar and an egoist. By the General bishop is right when followers Jesus Christ are people with a humble heart. They not need to preach their words, but words of God, not to be prefer themselves but the Lord Jesus Christ, and their life need to be fill with dearly prayers, acts of love to God and to neighbours.

On the ceremonial ordination resounded speeches home pastors from Prešov congregation and Associate Dean of Science, Relations and Expansion Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava Dávid Benka also joined in this congratulation and wishes.
In the name of the Board of ECAC in Slovakia Brother General Inspector of ECAC Imrich Lukáč addressed them this words: „I welcome you with open arms and we put great hopes in to you. We are really need you. On the other hand, I ask so paternally, with doubt: What the world and the environment you are sending? It's a question not just for you. „ Go! I´m sending you out like lambs among wolves“ (Luke 10, 3). So be careful and faithful.“
