12th Assembly of Ecumenical Council of Churches in Slovakia

The 12th Assembly of the Ecumenical Council of Churches (ECC) was held on March 11, 2015 on the General Bishop´s Office in Slovakia. The main topic was 200th anniversary of birth one of the most important representatives of Slovak nation life in 19th century – Ľudovít Štúr.
The Assembly was leading by General Bishop of the ECAC in Slovakia Miloš Klátik, who is also the chairman of the Ecumenical Council of Churches in Slovakia, accompanied with the vice-chairman of the ECC Lászlo Fazekas. He is the bishop of the Reformed Christian Church in Slovakia. Opening Worship served Miloš Klátik and prayer had Lászlo Fazekas.

General Bishop Miloš Klátik had a power-point presentation and lecture about Ľudovít Štúr.

One of the main point of schedule was a report about activities and management of the ECC in years 2013 and 2014. Report was presented by general secretary of ECC in Slovakia Ladislav Krpala. Another item of agenda was election of presidium and members of revision committee ECC. As a chairman was reelected general bishop of ECAC Miloš Klátik and as a vice-chairman Lászlo Fazekas.

On the Assembly was invited director of the Church department of Ministry of Culture of Slovak Republic JUDr. Ján Juran. The Assembly was finished by prayer.
