Representing the ECAC in Slovkaia, General Bishop Klátik visited 20th anniversary of the renovation of St. Paul’s Church in Vladivostok. This celebration was part of the 16th “Days of Culture” festival in Vladivostok.
The 7th Assembly of the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) held under the motto "free for the future" in Florence took place from 20 - 26 of September. General Bishop Miloš Klátik, who is the Chairman of AGDE answered questions concerning the cooperation between AGDE and CPCE.
Students from German partner school of F.L. Jahn from Grossengottern were visiting evangelical gymnasium in Presov from Saturday 22nd of September untill 28th of September 2012.
The stamp named "400th Anniversary of the Synod of Žilina" took part in the competition Grand Prix de l'exposition WIPA in Vienna and placed third. The stamp has been issued in year 2010 by Slovak Post and was designed by Dušan Kállay and Martin Činovský
This year's Theological Conference of the ECAC in Slovakia was held from 12 - 14 September in Poprad. As part of preparations for celebration of the 1150th Anniversary of the arrival of Cyril and Method, the theme topic was: "Cyril and Method - message for Today".
Tournament for the Cup of General Bishop took place in the International Youth Centre in MEMC Veľký Slavkov. This was already the 4th tournament consecutive annual tournament.
Delegation from Frösön (Härnösand diocese), Sweden, paid a visit to the ECAC in Slovakia. Church of Sweden is a partner church to the ECAC in Slovakia and our colleagues were interested in how different responsibilities are divided in our church and how is the work divided among pastors, administrative employees etc.
The idea to find this school was born at a meeting of nationalist in region called Malohont. This meeting was held to honor the death of P. J. Safarik in November 1861 in Kobeliarovo. This idea has been carried out on 16th of September 1862.
The General Bishop Miloš Klátik led Sunday service in Zelené which commemorated 175th anniversary of its consecration. Among people present were also representatives of the city Poltár.
The small village Spanie Poles in Gemer had the honor to welcome visitors from Germany. Among the visitors were General Bishop Miloš Klátik with his wife, pastor John Christian Burmeister from Germany as well as former pastor Miroslav Synak.
